DEE-DAY - Lenny Dee. 40 years of life!
On friday the 11th of April the ‘Oude Zaal’ of the Melkweg, Amsterdam will center around the American DJ whose awesome lifestyle has claimed many musical victims! The Third Movement and Industrial Strength present: Dee-Day. Lenny Dee. 40 years of life!

Recognized as one of the first Hardcore DJs in the world, New York based Lenny Dee is the little big man behind Industrial Strength Records and an ever-running list of hardcore classics. Celebrating 40 years of untainted and uncensored party attitude, the Dee-man is personally responsible for the meaning behind the word hangover. Feasting together with some of his closest friends, on April 11th the bomb is getting dropped!

Joining the Dee-Day celebration are: Manu Le Malin, Akira, Buzz Fuzz, Peaky Pounder, Jappo (a.k.a. Unexist), Promo and Obsession. Not the most obvious of combinations, and just the better! Offcourse Lenny Dee himself will drop lots of tunes during the night and join in on the action wherever possible. What to expect from Dee-Day? ISR classics, hardcore mash & bash sets from Lenny Dee’s friends, and of course pure non stop party action!

Dee-day will be held at the ‘oude zaal’ of the Melkweg. Located in downtown Amsterdam the Melkweg venue can be found at the Lijnbaansgracht, down in the middle of the radiant nightlife and easily reachable by public transit. (payed) Parking is also available in the neighborhood of the Melkweg. Doors open at 10 PM, so there’s plenty of time to fill the night with all sorts of celebration!

These styles have developed rapidly over the past years, starting at Illegal raves and then breaking ground into larger crowds. This music guarantees an overdose of energy, dark melodies alongside industrial soundscapes, with hard kicks and chaotic patterns.
